The Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) programme under APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University (KTU) follows the 2024 scheme and is a 3-year undergraduate programme spread across 6 semesters. The curriculum is designed to build strong foundations in programming, data structures, databases, networking, and software development. Students gain hands-on experience through mini projects, an industry internship, and a final semester project. The programme incorporates emerging technology electives such as Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, Cyber Security & Ethical Hacking, Data Science, Cloud Computing, and Full Stack Development. KTU's outcome-based framework ensures graduates are industry-ready for roles in software development, IT services, cybersecurity, and data analytics, or to pursue higher studies such as MCA or M.Tech.
